Do You Have A Leaky Gut?

Last week we discussed what Leaky Gut Syndrome is; this week we will share what to do about it.

Some of the symptoms of a leaky gut include gas, bloating, allergies, sensitivities, chronic skin issues, diarrhea, constipation, and stomach aches. There are irritating foods to consider avoiding such as gluten, dairy, MSG, food dyes and refined products. Supplements that assist repair include probiotics, glutamine, betaine hydrochloride, digestive enzymes, apple cider vinegar, and herbs for elimination. In addition, there are techniques that help manage and reduce stress, also getting proper sleep and plenty of water contributes to the healing process.

If you haven’t heard about this topic or didn’t believe it existed because your doctor advised otherwise, things are about to change. It has become so common that now there is a drug being developed to help the symptoms for leaky gut syndrome, (not to cure it) and you will soon be hearing a lot about this condition that has been ignored (or laughed at) in the past.
