GAPS Stands for Gut and Psychology Syndrome and also Gut and Physiology Syndrome. In her first book about GAPS,  Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD describes this term she created and the relationship between digestion and brain issues.  The GAPS book not only describes this relationship in great detail, but also the diet that will help overcome these disorders.  Because most disease begins in the digestive tract, affecting the gut affects the entire body, its organs, tissues and cells.  Changing the diet, can change yours and/or your child’s life.
