Dr. Julie Wilson is a licensed Chiropractic Physician, a Certified Clinical Nutritionist and Certified GAPS Practitioner. She graduated from The University of Health Sciences Chiropractic School and received her certification with the IAACN. Dr. Wilson studied Chinese medicine extensively, and believes in combining the Eastern philosophy with Western Medicine in the treatment of disease.
Dr. Wilson’s passion is to educate people on nutrition and how the body works, so that they can take health into their own hands by making informed, conscious decisions. She believes that the body does the healing and she is here to facilitate that process.
Dr. Wilson studied with Dr. Scott Walker, founder of NET and Dr. Dan Kalish in Functional Medicine. She has been teaching Nutrition courses and Pathology courses at the Chicago College of Healing Arts since 2002. She also taught at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and gives lectures and classes all over the Chicagoland area. She has worked at Multidisciplinary clinics such as Dr. Mercola’s Natural Health Center and Pulling Down the Moon Fertility clinic, while having experience treating patients all around the world.
Dr. Wilson believes in finding the source of disease, which may include physical, biochemical and emotional causes. She believes in using nutrition, detoxification, herbs, homeopathy, subtle electromagnetic fields, Neuro Emotional Technique, AAT and lifestyle changes to support and strengthen the body to heal.
