Coconut Oil as a Moisturizer

As the colder weather approaches, so does dryer skin for many. In my opinion, there aren’t a lot of “clean” face products out there. Many of them have ingredients that I have trouble saying let alone defining. In fact, there is no ingredient list found on most of our cosmetics because the list is too long.

Coconut oil is as simple as it comes–1 ingredient. I have used coconut oil as a face moisturizer for years. I love the way it provides a smooth feel to my face, holds make up well and gives a bit of a sheen to the skin. You don’t need to use much; just a bit on the fingers will go a long way. You may even want to consider using it everywhere to keep your skin soft and moist through the winter.
