Is Fluoride Bad?

Fluoride is the only additive used in water for medicinal purposes without our consent.  There are approximately 300 products that may be added to our water supply under the name fluoride.  Sodium fluoride and other fluoride compounds are chemical by-products of  manufacturing steel and nuclear weapons, fertilizers and cement.  Fluoride is the active ingredient in many pesticides and rat poison.  Fluoride itself is established as a poison with the CDCs highest MSDS danger rating of ‘4’.  A ‘4’ is considered “life-threatening”; “major permanent damage may result from a single or repeated exposure” .

Is fluoride bad?  Yes! Notice the warning label on fluoridated toothpaste.  17 countries have banned fluoride in their water and many cities in the U.S. have done the same.  Even the ADA created an alert to warn the public not to make baby food using fluoridated water. Fluoride replaces calcium in bones and teeth, making them brittle instead of strong.  It is linked to diseases of the bone, kidney, thyroid, and cardiovascular system; also reduced IQ, melatonin and sperm quantity and quality and certain kinds of cancer.

Many people use filters for their drinking water, but may not realize that fluoride is not being removed.  Next week I will discuss how to avoid fluoride and filters that remove this deadly poison.
